Ironclad Underwriting Co.
A document-processing agent that reads incoming underwriting submissions, extracts the required fields, flags missing data, and drafts a summary for the underwriter.
The problem
Underwriters at Ironclad spent a large share of each day manually reading incoming submission packets (often 20-40 pages each) to extract key figures and flag missing documentation before underwriting could even begin.
The solution
We built a LangGraph-based agent that ingests incoming submission documents, extracts and structures the required fields, cross-checks against a completeness checklist, and produces a one-page summary with flagged gaps, ready for the underwriter to review instead of starting from a raw PDF stack. High-uncertainty extractions are flagged for manual confirmation rather than guessed.
